After touring the long-touted THE POINTE project, The Nassau Guardian National Review featured the project in its article “A New Pointe at an Old Address.” The story noted that the project, being developed by CCA South America in downtown Nassau, is connected to Junkanoo Beach and stated, “A walk around the property confirms the developers have been successful in providing a haven of separate tranquility in the middle of an urban jungle.”

THE POINTE Project Resumes Construction in the Bahamas
THE POINTE project in downtown Nassau, the Bahamas resumed construction on May 4, 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Bahamian government announced that the country is moving to Phase 1b in the reopening the economy, allowing construction to be carried out from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. during the week under industry protocols.

Baha Mar Obtains TCO, Prepares for Grand Opening
Baha Mar, the mega resort project built by CCA in The Bahamas, obtained a Temporary Certificate of Occupancy (TCO) on March 22, giving the owner full rights to use all Baha Mar amenities included in the soft opening of the first phase, which includes the convention center, casino and casino hotel.
