Located in Nassau, The Bahamas, the gateway is 6.2 miles long and serves as an important link between Nassau Lynden Pindling International Airport (NAS) and the city center. Since its completion in 2013, the project has benefited every Bahamian resident and millions of travelers to The Bahamas, extending the country’s hospitality and enthusiasm to the rest of the world.

In addition to the roadway construction, which broke ground in 2011, the project also included the water and electrical utilities, landscaping, street lights and other associated works.

At the peak of construction in October 2012, a total of 125 Bahamians were employed on the project.
