On September 15, 2015, Strategic Capital, the investment platform and subsidiary of CCA, broke ground on Hudson Park River Club, the third and final phase of the 16-acre Hudson Park Development Project that overlooks the Hudson River in downtown Yonkers.
Commercial Counselor of the Chinese Consulate General in New York Liu Yi, Mayor of Yonkers Mike Spano and City Council President Liam McLaughlin attended the ceremony.
Hudson Park River Club, located on 230,000 square feet of land, will include 213 apartment units, a fitness center, recreation area and 160 parking spaces. The project, expected to be completed in 2017, is on the Yonkers Metro North commuter rail line, which provides access to Manhattan’s Grand Central Station. The project also is surrounded by great shopping, restaurants and bars, museums, galleries and performing arts venues, as well as a variety of recreational opportunities along the waterfront.
In addition to Hudson Park River Club, the Hudson Park Development Project includes Hudson Park South, a 266-unit luxury apartment building with 15,500 square feet of well-leased office and retail space completed in 2003; and Hudson Park North, a 294-unit luxury apartment building with 5,500 square feet of public community space and a courtyard completed in 2008.
