CSCEC Ranked No. 1 in Global Contractors

On September 1, 2014, ENR published its 2014 lists of Top 250 Global Contractors and Top 250 International Contractors. CSCEC, CCA’s parent company, ranked no.1 on the global contractors list with a global contracting revenue of $97,870.2 million in 2013. It was ranked no. 20 on the international contractors list, up from no. 24, with $5,742.7 million in revenue realized outside China.
On the Top 10 by Region list, CSCEC was ranked no. 6 in Africa, up from no.7 in 2013. It remained no. 6 in the buildings sector on the Top 10 by Market rankings.
ENR’s Top 250 Global Contractors list ranks contractors annually based on total worldwide contracting revenue from the previous year, whereas the Top 250 International Contractors list ranks firms based on contracting revenue derived from projects outside of their home countries.
In 2013, ENR Top 250 Contractors enjoyed a fruitful year and realized $1.42 trillion in contracting revenue, a 7% jump from 2012. Out of the total revenue, $543.97 billion came from international contracts and $871.50 billion from domestic contracts, among which 56% came from Chinese contractors who benefited from China’s huge infrastructure and rail program.
