CCA Earned Gold STEP Award
October 12, 2012
The Carolinas Chapter of the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) presented CCA’s South Carolina office with a “2012 Gold level of ABC National STEP Award” at the ABC Gaylor Training Center in Charlotte, NC.
The STEP (Safety Training and Evaluation Process) program was developed “by contractors, for contractors” and uses a scoring system to objectively evaluate safety performance. Awards are given in four categories: Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum, with the top three categories being recognized at the annual Safety Awards Banquet. To achieve Gold, a company must have an incidence rate equal to or less than 1½ times the NAICS average.
CCA is very proud to have earned the Gold level STEP award. As the company continues its commitment to the ongoing development and implementation of the safety program through training, practice and documentation, CCA is honored to be recognized by her peers in the contracting and construction industry.
