99 Hudson Street was featured in the YIMBY for its exterior work nearing completion.
Standing along the Hudson waterfront, the topped-out 900-foot-tall residential tower is clearly visible from Manhattan. Plaza Construction is in charge of building 99 Hudson Street, which will include 781 condominium units, 12 elevators, and a luxurious 9,000-square-foot lobby with millwork, fabric walls, stone flooring and glass entrances. Approximately 15,000 square feet of commercial and retail space is included, along with a 7,000-square-foot plaza. The facade will be limestone, glass and aluminum.
YIMBY went to the top of the skyscraper earlier this year, and returned recently to take in the views during golden hour. “The external mechanical hoist has been dismantled and the remaining Jura limestone and glass panels are filling up the vertical strips in the curtain wall of Jersey City’s tallest skyscraper,” highlighted by YIMBY. Completion of 99 Hudson Street is expected next year.
