AHB Won Top 10 Bridges Award
CCA’s Alexander Hamilton Bridge (AHB) project was ranked No. 3 on the 2013 Top 10 Bridges Award list released by the Roads & Bridges magazine, a 103-year national trade publication that covers the transportation construction and maintenance marketplace. The award was created in 2000 to recognize top projects in North America that were challenging, greatly impacted the region, and had a complex scope of work.

Baha Mar Project Won Best Collaboration and Data Exchange Award
The Baha Mar project was awarded the only first prize in the category of Best Collaboration and Data Exchange Project at the 2013 Building Information Modeling (BIM) Invitational Contest organized by the China Construction Industry Association (CCIA).

CCASC Won ST. Andrews School of Math and Science Project
On June 26, 2013, CCA South Carolina (CCASC) won the low bid on the St. Andrews School of Math and Science project. The contract valued at more than $20 million encompassed the construction of a two-story 96,030sf building, load bearing masonry, steel framed roof structure, two-roof system including a modified bituminous sheet system and standing seam metal as well as associated site work.

Stage 4 Construction Completed at AHB
Good news came from the Alexander Hamilton Bridge project again: the Stage 4 construction, which included the demolition of two existing lanes on the I-95 Northbound bridge deck and approach structures’ concrete deck, steel structure repair, and construction of a new deck, was completed 45 days ahead of schedule. The Full Incentive Bonus will be awarded to this signature project of NYC as a result.
