Baha Mar Project Won Best Collaboration and Data Exchange Award

The Baha Mar project was awarded the only first prize in the category of Best Collaboration and Data Exchange Project at the 2013 Building Information Modeling (BIM) Invitational Contest organized by the China Construction Industry Association (CCIA).
CCA’s nine-person BIM team developed a digital simulation of the construction process of the Baha Mar project, which incorporated various aspects of the Casino Hotel and Convention Center, including exterior design, interior fit-out, concrete, as well as mechanical, electrical and plumbing work. The project adopted BIM applications in different trades of work, which helped improve work efficiency and reduce cost.
