PROJECT DESCRIPTION

We were selected to oversee construction of the latest addition to the portfolio of The W Hotel Group, renowned for its lavish hotels around the world. The W South Beach, at a prime location on 23rd Street and Collins Avenue in Miami Beach, is a five-diamond hotel and upscale 408-unit condominium building designed by internationally recognized architecture firm Costas Kondylis & Partners.

At 21 stories, the W South Beach Resort & Residences offers guests and residents panoramic ocean views along with numerous amenities, including 20 rooftop pools and three-level spas.

Our job was to bring to reality the vision of the architects, interior designers and developers for a hotel and residences that stand out in a market filled with luxurious properties. As construction manager for the project, we used our expertise to devise and implement solutions to a variety of challenges, including the engineering and construction of a 400-foot vehicular tunnel designed to ease traffic on bustling Collins Avenue while facilitating the W’s extensive valet services. The tunnel also impacted construction of a functioning subterranean basement.
